MODALISBOA DAY 1 - RUNWAY

Olá a todos! O sol já vai alto e eu já estou desperto para mais um dia de ModaLisboa. Hoje é o terceiro dia de ModaLisboa, o dia começa cedo logo as 14:30 com Valentim Quaresma e só acaba com Nuno Gama as 22h. Partilho agora convosco algumas fotografias dos desfiles que tenho visto e tenho conseguido tirar uma ou outra fotografia decente. Esta foi a minha primeira vez que fotografei um desfiles. Tinha a noção de que é difícil fotografar um desfile mas viver essa experiência fez-me ver que é mesmo difícil fotografar manequins em movimento e pior quando estamos a fotografar em ângulos muito apertados e como muitas pessoas a volta. Não sou nenhum profissional mas o que importa é que me diverti imenso! bye, Oli.

Hello everyone! The sun is already high and I'm already awake to another day of ModaLisboa. Today is the third day of ModaLisboa, once the day starts early with Valentim Quaresma 14:30 and ends with Nuno Gama 22h. Now I share with you some photos of the runway shows I've seen and I have managed to take a decent photo. This was my first time that I photographed a fashion show. I had the notion that it is difficult to shoot a live show but this experience made me see that it is really difficult to shoot moving mannequins and worse when we're shooting in very tight angles and many people around. I'm not a professional but what matters is that I enjoyed a lot! bye, Oli.

Seguindo o paradoxo de que vivemos numa constante selva urbana, Saymyname inaugurou a edição da Moda Lisboa Freedom providenciando tudo que será necessário á sobrevivência da atípica guerreira citadina. As linhas samurais encontravam-se pertinente-mente em todos os modelos que se completavam com os acessórios metálicos e os tons sombrios.

Following up the paradox f the urban jungle myth that we live in, Saymyname kicked off this year Moda Lisboa Freedom giving all of the surviving tools for this new trendy urban female warrior. The samurai lines were a constant presence in each single model complementing the look with metallic accessories and dark tons.

LIDIJA KOLOVRAT

“I Can See Myself in Your Eyes” – “Consigo visualizar-me nos teus olhos” é o título da colecção de inverno de Lidija Kolovrat para 2013. A ideia era retornar a cenários do passado aprender com o mesmo, modificando e implementar o que ainda necessita ser feito no presente de modo a transformar o futuro da Humanidade.No inicio do desfile conseguia-se sentir na sala um sentimento de urgência e drama quase assombroso e perturbador, sendo este depois atenuado por um grafismo inter galáctico cortejado de formas inovadoras revestindo assim uma mulher e homem conhecedor do seu passado, consciente e activo no seu presente e preparado para o seu futuro.

“I Can See Myself in Your Eyes” is the title of Lidija Kolovrat’s collection for Winter 2013. Lidija looks into what mankind has accomplished and what still needs to be done. Searching ancient sites, she reinterprets moods and gives them new perspectives. This is reflected in a line that emphasized the physique and provides comfort to the body.In the beginning of the show you could feel a sense of urgency and drama almost freighting and upsetting, but this was after switch and smooth by the inter galactic graphics followed by a number of innovative forms. All of these elements were able to dress a woman and men who has total knowledge of the pass, is conscientious and an active force in his present, and is completely prepared for the future.

LUÍS BUCHINHO

"Luís Buchinho Inverno 2013A calçada portuguesa é um dos marcos históricos mais inerentes de Portugal, sendo parte ativa do quotidiano e rotina de todos que passam pelas nossas ruas. Património transportado para os 4 pontos do Mundo por onde um português tenha passado.Foi nesta que Luís Bouchinho retirou total inspiração para a colecção de Inverno de 2013. Tornando a mesma num padrão para definir a silhueta da sua mulher. Mulher palavra que ainda se encontra em plena construção no meu vocabulário, sendo que esta transição é um processo complexo.Porém após a visualização desta colecção encheu-se nas plateias um sentimento completo de orgulho não apenas de ser mulher, mas de tudo que engloba o termo. Desde a silhueta acentuada, a cortes ríspidos não se esquecendo nunca de um toque de neo classicismo e sensualidade e ligando tudo isto com sentimento de modernidade. "Luís Buchinho Winter 2013 Portuguese stone calçada is one of the living history marks on the streets of Portugal, this is an active part of the all Portuguese rotine. A patrimony that was transported all around the world, whenever a Portuguese has passed there it is. And this was the main inspiration for Luís Bouchino for his 2013 Winter Collection.The block “patterns of Portuguese tone calçada were all over the models to complete this woman. Woman is a word that became a work in process in my vocabulary, a complex process still in transition. But, after the visualization of this collection a common feeling surrounded the crowed that had the opportunity to watch the show live, a sense of proud not only in being a woman, but of everything that comes along with that on word.The esthetic is very linear and geometric, while also being feminine and elegant.Lines around the body enhance narrow waists. Slender cigarette pants, and tube dresses in midi and maxi lengths also lengthen the silhouette. Buchinko’s palette for is black, navy, strong blue, stone and white tones. Fabrics match between natural and synthetic materials, such as crepe silk, wool crepe, double featherweight wool tweeds and wool crepes, combine with polyester and nylon lacquered affects. Printed digital patterns punctuate the entire collection as an expression of the calçada theme.The woman of Bouchinho is now ready not only to conquer the world but she is carring along wherever she goes her roots.
