O terceiro dia do Portugal Fashion começou com um coktail na loja/galeria Wrong Weather onde fomos presenteados com o mais recente trabalho de Patrick Church - Just How You Made Me Feel. Patrick Church nasceu em 1991, Oxford, e mudou-se para Londres quando tinha apenas 18 anos. Descrito em 2012 pela Room Gallery como “O novo artista mais provocativo de Londres”, Church trabalhar principalmente como pintor, criando telas, murais e, recentemente, 'wearable art' na forma de casacos de couro pintados. Utilizando cor e texto e intervindo directamente sobre o couro, Patrick Church produz peças que podem ser tão íntimas como ousadas, revelando sempre uma sensibilidade artística singular. Como artista, trabalha para experimentar e resolver problemas, criando soluções que identifica como extensões de si próprio, nas quais revela as suas frustrações, fracassos e sucessos em peças que conseguem ser simultaneamente sombrias, honestas e provocadoras. Em Just How You Made Me Feel o artista apresenta uma série recente de trabalhos, explorações em diferentes media, em tom confessional e inspiração nas emoções e demónios pessoais do artista. Hello World People ! The third day of Portugal Fashion started with a cocktail in the shop / gallery Wrong Weather where we were presented with the most recent work of Patrick Church - Just How You Made Me Feel. Patrick Church was born in 1991, Oxford , and moved to London when he was just 18. Described in 2012 by Room Gallery as "The most provocative new artist from London," Church work primarily as a painter, creating screens, murals and recently ' wearable art' in the form of painted leather jackets. Using color and text and intervening directly on the leather, Patrick Church produces parts that can be as intimate as bold, revealing always a unique artistic sensibility. As an artist, working to try and resolve problems, creating solutions that identifies as extensions of himself, in which reveals his frustrations, failures and successes in pieces that can be simultaneously bleak, honest and provocative. On 'Just How You Made Me Feel' The artist presents a series of recent works, explorations in different media in a confessional tone and inspiration in emotions and personal demons artist.
