OLI #103 - BLACK TO WORK

Olá World People! É verão e Londres parece querer concordar com isso. Sinto falta do meu Tejo, do Atlântico e da brisa do mar. Mas Londres tem me oferecido muitas outras coisas que não me fazem esquecer do meu cantinho em terras lusitanas, mas que por sua vez me fazem sentir e concordar que casa é onde o nosso coração encontra amor e se sente confortavel. Um dos lugares onde trabalho aqui em Londres é no fantástico Cocktail Bar: Lounge Lover, brevemente partilho convosco fotos do lugar. Mas como vos dizia para trabalhar no LL tenho de vestir looks em total preto. É claro que para mim não é tarefa difícil pois como vocês sabem adoro usar e abusar da paleta monocromática especialmente de preto. Todas as sextas-feiras e sábados lá vou eu em 'full black' trabalhar no LL. Um das coisas que mais gosto aqui em Londres é a liberdade de expressão individual, a aceitação e o respeito pela diferença, o saber apreciar o outro pela sua singularidade e permitir que essa expressão criativa do ser singular se manifeste de forma fluída fazendo dessa acção expressiva um atributo e uma mais valia a todos os níveis. Com isto quero dizer que tenho liberdade de ser quem sou e essa mesma faculdade torna-se num atributo para mim mesmo e terceiros. Espero que gostem do look que usei para o trabalho no sábado passado.Bye, Oli
Hello World People! It's summer and London seems to agree with this. I miss my Tagus, the Atlantic and the sea breeze. But London has offered me many other things that make me not forget my little shell in Lusitanian lands, but that in turn makes me feel and agree that home is where our heart finds love and feel comfortable. One of the places where I work here in London is in the fantastic Cocktail Bar: Lounge Lover, soon I will share with you photos of the place. To work at LL I must dress a full black outfit. Of course for me it's not as difficult as you know I love using and abusing monochrome palette and especially black. So all Fridays and Saturdays I'm off  in 'full black' to work in LL. One of the things I like most here in London is the freedom of individual expression, acceptance and respect for difference, knowing and appreciate each other for their uniqueness and allow that creative unique expression to manifest in doing this fluidly expressive action an attribute and added value at all levels. By this I mean that I am free to be who I am and that same feature becomes an attribute to myself and others. Hope you like the outfit that I wore to work on the lat Saturday. Bye, Oli
