Olá World People! O primeiro dia da ModaLisboa Legacy já lá vai no legado passado e hoje no presente seguimos caminho para o segundo dia, este cheio de criatividade com desfiles de grandes nomes da moda nacional. Este post é dedicado ao que de melhor aconteceu no primeiro dia. Se não existe referencia, imagens ou comentários a determinado designer ou colecção é porque este assim não criou qualquer impacto ou estimulo em mim quanto ao seu produto criativo. Mesmo assim quero felicitar a todos aqueles que aqui se encontram incluídos como aqueles que não, por todo o empenho, dedicação e trabalho! A Moda Portuguesa continua viva e vocês são parte de um todo que a faz viver e respirar! Deixo-vos então com as minhas selecções e criticas, brevemente post com o look do segundo dia. Bye, Oli

Hello World People! The first day of ModaLisboa Legacy (Lisbon Fashion Week) is long gone in the past legacy and today we follow in this way for the second day, full of creativity with shows of big names in national fashion. This post is dedicated to the best of what happened on the first day. If there is no reference, pictures or comments to a particular designer or collection is so because the same did not create any impact or stimulus in me about their creative product. Still I want to congratulate all those who are here included as those who do not, for all the commitment, dedication and hard work! The Portuguese Fashion world still alive and you are part of it in a single and different way you make it live and breathe! 'E de repente a vida vira do avesso...e descubro que o avesso é o lado certo!'

É no espectro de dualidades que Alexandra Moura uma vez mais faz brilhar todo o seu processo criativo.  A coleção ganha vida entre o exercício de construção e desconstrução como também da subtileza do comportamento dos materiais, acabamentos e detalhes. O corpo no seu todo ou em formas separadas assume a base do desenho ilustrado numa colecção de contrastes. Uma colecção forte entre cortes clássicos e rectos que se fundem com um retro futurismos actual que torna esta uma colecção super apetecivel! Pena minha não estar em Portugal neste momento mas assim que pisar em terras Lusitanas irei visitar a Loja da Alexandra Moura no principe real para um forte shopping.

It is the spectrum of dualities that Alexandra Moura once again shines throughout her creative process. The collection comes alive between the exercise of construction and deconstruction as well as the subtlety of the behavior of materials, finishes and details. The body in its entirety or in separate forms the base assumes the illustrated drawing of a collection of contrasts. A strong collection of classic cuts and straight merging with a current retro futurology that makes this a desirable super collection! I'm sad fot not being in Portugal at the moment but as soon as I will step in Lusitanian lands I will visit the shop of Alexandra Moura at Principe Real for a strong shopping.

Inês Duval é um dos novos elementos na plataforma Sangue Novo desta edição. Estagiou com um dos grandes designers menswear de Portugal, Ricardo Andrez. Brinda-nos com a sua colecção Karma. Sobre a interpretação da definição de Karma, causa-efeito, surge uma colecção toda ela streetwear, minimal e cheia de sobreposições. Confesso que não estou rendido à estética nem muito menos ao design mas é de realçar que pelo facto de no seu desfile ter 3 dos melhores modelos de passarela do momento em Portugal ajuda a fazer brilhar (mesmo que pouco) a colecção. Posto isto fico na duvida se há algo que de facto me atrai quanto ao produto em si ou simplesmente os modelos por serem bons estão a executar o seu trabalho na perfeição, que é dar vida as roupas que desfilam mesmo que estas tenham ou não, digamos qualidade, estética, inovação ou até mesmo algo criativo. Os brincos, esses são um apontamento interessante mas irrelevante e que não complementam a colecção em nenhum sentido mas sim resultam na perspectiva de perfile.

Ines Duval is one of the new elements in this edition at Sangue Novo (New Blood) platform. She did an internship with one of the greatest designers of menswear from Portugal, Ricardo Andrez. She presents us with its collection: Karma. An interpretation of the definition of Karma, cause and effect, comes a collection all over streetwear, minimal and full of overlaps. I confess I am not yielded much less to the aesthetics but I have to say that the design is highlighted by the fact that on her show she have 3 of the top runway models of the moment in Portugal off course that helps to shine (even if little) her collection. So for that I am in doubt whether there is in fact something that appeals to me about the product itself or simply by being good models they are performing and giving us a perfect work, which is to give life to the designer clothes even if they are not, cool, with nice aesthetic, with bits innovation or even something creative. The earrings, these are an interesting piece but irrelevant pointing and does not complement the collection in any sense but I have to say it does result in perspective profile as yu can see on the photo on top!

Viajando no tempo trazendo os anos 20 para a actualidade, em cores vibrantes Nair Xavier inspira-se na anatómia das mais de 20 mil espécies de orquídeas adaptando e reconstruindo uma colecção contemporania onde o clássico se funde em perfeita harmonia com o sportswear. O resultado é uma estoentiante, frenetica e alegre coleção. Onde cortes rectos, materiais nobres e silhuetas sofisticadas dão vida a um conjunto de elementos bem executados. Sendo que aos meus olhos Nair é entre todos os designers que apresentam na plataforma Sangue Novo, a designer mais promissora e sem sobra de duvidas a favorita a juntar-se aos restantes designers 'da casa'!

Traveling in time bringing the 20s to the present, Nair Xavier in vibrant colors inspired by the anatomy of more than 20 000 species of orchids adapting and rebuilding a contemporary collection where classical merges seamlessly with sportswear. The result is a dizzying, frantic and joyful collection. Where straight cuts, high quality materials and sophisticated silhouettes give life to a set of elements well executed. To me Nair is among all the designers who are featured on Sangue Novo (New Blood) platform, the most promising designer and the favorite to debut join the other 'home' designers!

Cristina Real estagiou com Alexandra Moura e volta a apresentar pela segunda vez na plataforma Sangue Novo. 'Details' é a sua colecção inspirada na arquitectura do japonês de Kengo Kuma. Rica em cortes tridimensionais frescos e leves onde branco e preto são elementos chaves. Já estou a imaginar inúmeras celebridades a usar ambos vestidos nos extremos da colagem a cima em eventos como os globos de ouro ou até mesmo a gala GQ men of the year. A linda e deslumbrante Ana Sofia ira ficar a matar em ambos em ambas as situações! (fica a dica)

Cristina Real intern of Alexandra Moura come back to present the second time in Sangue Novo (New Blood) platform. 'Details' her collection inspired by the work of the architecture of the japonise  Kengo Kuma. Rich in fresh cuts and three-dimensional light where white and black are key elements. I can already imagine many celebrities wearing dresses in the extremes of both the collage up at events like the Golden Globes or even gala GQ men of the year. The gorgeous and stunning Ana Sofia will get to kill in both in both situations! (just saying)

Rua 148 by Elisa Boto e Francisca Veiga encontro marcado na Rua 148 onde o gosto pelas artes plásticas e moda culminam num fuso caleidoscópico e o resultado é uma colecção cheia de elementos ilustrativos numa silhueta oversize. Mulheres fortes, independentes e cheias de atitudes  inspiradas no trabalho de Luio Onassis. Estou curioso para descobrir o que está por vir desta nova marca e as próximas colaborações artísticas.

Rua 148 by Elisa Boto e Francisca Veiga appointment at Rua (street) 148 where the taste for art and fashion culminate in a kaleidoscopic zone and the outcome is a collection full of illustrative elements in an oversize silhouette. Strong, independent and full of attitude womens inspired by the work of Luio Onassis. I'm curious to find out what's to come this brand new and upcoming artistic collaborations.
