PFW SS16 - HIGHLIGHTS

Hello World People! Today is the last day of Paris Fashion Week and I share with you so far my highlights. I never had the opportunity to attend the Parisians fashion week, but I have been way far to be present. Who knows, next season! For me PFW is one of the most strong fashion weeks, with some of the biggest names in the industry this is a week to watch closely and get to see what the best designers are creating. From names like Hermés, Louis Vuitton to Rick Owens and Raf Simons Paris was this week the capital of luxurious and top tailoring as so experimental design. I have to give a big hype to SACAI, by Chitose Abe. After working with Junya Watanabe at Comme des Garçon the designer brings for SS16 a strong collection that made me fly back in time, the time when I was living in Bolivia, the traditional aguayo did pop up to my eyes and gives to the collection a multicultural vibe. And speaking about Comme des Garçon, yellow and polka dots reign the catwalk. Another high moment on this week was the debut of John Galliano for Margiela. Hello World People! Hoje é o último dia da Paris Fashion Week e quero partilhar convosco os meus destaques. Ainda não tive a oportunidade de fazer parte da semana de moda parisienses, mas confesso que já estive bem mais longe de fazer parte! Quem sabe, na próxima temporada! Para mim PFW é um das mais fortes semanas de moda, com alguns dos maiores nomes da indústria esta é uma semana para assistir de perto e ver o que os melhores designers estão a criar. Nomes como Hermés, Louis Vuitton ou Rick Owens e Raf Simons Paris foi esta semana a capital da alfaiataria de luxo e design experimental. Eu tenho que dar uma grande destaque a SACAI, por Abe Chitose. Depois de trabalhar com Junya Watanabe na Comme des Garçon a designer traz para SS16 uma coleção forte que me fez voar de volta no tempo, o tempo em que eu vivia na Bolívia, o aguayo tradicional saltou logo aos meus olhos e dá à coleção uma vibe multicultural. E falando sobre Comme des Garçon, pontos amarelos e polka dots reinaram a passarela. Outro momento alto nesta semana foi a estréia de John Galliano para Margiela debute da sua primeira colecção homem para a casa. Vejam todos os destaques aqui. By, Oli.
