Hello World People! Catarina Sequeira the designer and creative mind behind Saymyname brand brought us the reincarnation of gender through art. The analysis of the definition of what gender represents in our society and cultural system. The term Gender back in the days was simplify has the  defining word to the differences of the attributes between a men and women, separating the world in two sides. Nowadays the world of arts and the society itself as been exploring this category in very different ways. Starting from questions! And to answering those sames questions Catarina dig into the world creating a collection meanly inspired on the work of three artist. Kimiko Yoshida, the japonese painter and photographer, that towards her expression of art amplify her voice in a feminist protest against contemporary cliches of seduction, servitude of women and stereotypes of gender. From the book "We should all be Feminist", of the Nigerian author: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Sequeira brings us the reflection quote: "The problem with gender is that it prescribes how we should be rather than recognizing how we are". But is the abstract shapes that force the viewer to consider the figure in lieu of uncanny pattern of the surrealist art of the Canadian Sascha Brauning that justify the voice of this collection. Female freedom thru different kind of arts. From a minimal and draped aesthetic to an artistic organic 3D geometric printed style to finish in a matching colorful of abstracted art and minimal black. Olá Pessoas do Mundo! Catarina Sequeria a designer e mente criativa por de trás da marca Saymyname brindanos com a sua colecção, a reencarnação de género através da arte. Uma análise da definição do Gênero e a sua representação na nossa sociedade e sistema cultural. O termo Gênero antigamente era simplificado como a palavra que define as diferenças dos atributos entre homens e mulheres, o que faz separa o mundo em dois lados. Hoje em dia o mundo das artes e a própria sociedade tem vindo a explorar esta categoria de maneiras muito diferentes. Partindo de perguntas! E para responder a essas mesmas questões Catarina aprofunda e explora o mundo criando uma coleção inspirada na obra de três artistas. Kimiko Yoshida, pintor e fotógrafa japonese, que usa a sua arte para expressar e amplificar sua voz em protesto feminista contra clichês contemporâneas de sedução, servidão de mulheres e estereótipos de género. A partir do livro "Nós todos deviamos ser feminista", da autora nigeriana: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Sequeira traz a citação de reflexão: "O problema com o gênero é que ele prescreve como devemos ser, em vez de reconhecer como somos". Mas é nas formas abstratas que forçam o espectador a considerar a figura em vez de padrão estranho da arte surrealista da canadense Sascha Brauning que Catarina justifica a voz desta coleção. A Liberdade no feminino através de diferentes tipos de artes. A partir de drapeado e estética minimalista, passando por um estilo geométrico 3D orgânico artístico impresso para terminar em uma correspondência de arte colorida abstrata sobre preto minimalista.
