MODALISBOA KISS F/W16 [REPORT]

Hello World People! Finally I can breathe and give some time to my little world here! I got to do so many jobs that you guys can not imagine! Between fittings, office work, visit clients, extra work hours, extra meetings, last minute things, I try hard to have a life and so and so! Anyway! #NotComplaining

Finally I got some time to share with you my Lisbon Fashion Week report! Some of the things some of you might now already but trust me just because you saw it doesn't mean that you know it! I have cool facts and interesting things to share with you as so lot of unseen photos! So lets start from the very beginning. For this edition of Lisbon Fashion Week, ModaLisboa Kiss, I was invited to take over the social medias channels and so I did. I took over the facebook, instagram, twitter and snapchat as many of you got the chance to see live. Let me take this moment also to say thank you to the Karacter Agency team (Lido Palma, Hari, Pedro e João Borges) for this invitation and for all the love at work. I got to give a special thanks to João Barros for all the hard work assisting me, helping me out with the take over and for being my shadow for the weekend! :P [next season, lets do it again!]

But I din't stop there! Between all of the coverage, interviews, Live videos, snaps of the models, posts everywhere I got to walk on a show! I was invited to be at Lidija Kolovrat show and walk among models like Fernando Cabral! (Fernando is "only" on the list of 50 top models all over the world! check here) It was c r a z y e x p e r i e n c e! I loved any second of it! I was nervous (very nervous at the beginning) but then having the support of everyone at the backstage, and having Fernando Cabral and Marianne Bittencourt looking after me it did help a lot! In a blink all was over! But let me tell you that all of this experiences started in such a funny and lovely way! So a month ago will I was shooting with Carla Pires this look at Bairro Alto I was spotted by some elements of the creative team of Kolovrat . They saw me in different points and in separate locations. After that at the atelier of Kolovrat me and my yellow coat where the topic of the conversation! Not only a conversation but an inspiring object to the F/W16 collection. The yellow coat that Cabral walked on the show was inspired on that same day! I still don't believe that all of this did happened, but it did! :)

I also wanna take this moment to say thank you to everyone from Kolovrat team (Lidija, Mario, Tara) you guys rock! As so I wanna say thank you to all the people at the backstage but a special thanks to the Karacter Agency models, Fernando Cabral and Marianne Bittencourt for the support and for lifting me up, giving me some boost and confident to rock ate the catwalk.

Beside all of this craziness I did not forget you guys! I manage to take some photos of my outfits, as so some cool photos of the catwalk and streetstyle (not that much I'm afraid! Unfortunately the streetstyle in Portugal still is a bit weak! And I confess that I did not give that much time at the street looking for cool streetwalkers) So during this days I will be updating this post. It will be my report of this Lisbon Fashion Week season. This post will be updated with some comments and my point of view about the collections as so some cool photos I manage to take during the event. So keep up with me and stay tuned.

But before I go (from now) I just want to say happy birthday Lisbon Fashion Week and all the team ModaLisboa for the 25 anniversary! We are almost the same age! Thank you so much for being such a great platform of sharing portuguese fashion designs as so for all the promotion of the portuguese name. Olá a todos! Finalmente posso respirar e dar algum tempo para meu pequeno mundo aqui! Vocês não tem noção da quantidade de trabalhos que tenho em mãos! Entre provas de roupa, trabalho de escritório, visitas a clientes, horas extras de trabalho, reuniões suplementares, mil coisas de última hora, ainda tento ter uma vida social ou assim e assim! Mas Pronto! #NãoVouRefilar

Finalmente tenho algum tempo para partilhar convosco o meu relatório ModaLisboa! Algumas das coisas alguns de vocês já devem ter visto, mas confia em mim só porque viram isso não significa que sabem tudo! Tenho fatos e coisas interessantes para partilhar, com muitas fotos ainda não publicadas! Então vamos lá começar desde o início. Para esta edição de ModaLisboa Kiss, fui convidado para assaltar os canais sociais da Karacter Agency e assim o fiz. Tomei conta do facebook, instagram, twitter e snapchat como muitos de vocês tiveram a oportunidade de ver ao vivo. Deixe-me aproveitar este momento também para agradecer à equipa da Karacter Agency (Lido Palma, Hari, Pedro e João Borges) por este convite e por todo o amor no trabalho. E tenho que dar um agradecimento especial a João Barros por todo o trabalho duro, por me ter assistido, ajudado neste assalto e por ter sido a minha sombra neste fim-de-semana de loucos! : P [próxima temporada, fazemos novamente?!]

Mas a ação não param por aí! Entre toda a cobertura realizada, entrevistas, vídeos ao vivo, snaps dos modelos, posts em tudo o que é rede social tive a fantástica oportunidade de fazer parte do show da Lidija Kolovrat! Fui convidado para estar no show de Lidija Kolovrat a desfilar entre modelos como Fernando Cabral! (Fernando está "apenas" na lista dos 50 melhores modelos do mundo! Confira aqui) Foi e s p e t a c u l a r! Amei todos os segundos! Estava nervoso (muito nervoso ao início), mas, em seguida, ter o apoio de todos nos bastidores, e com Fernando Cabral e Marianne Bittencourt a cuidarem de mim ajudou imenso! Em um piscar de olhos estava tudo acabado! Mas as vezes o importante não é o fim mas sim o início! Tudo isto começou de forma muito engraçada e com todo o seu encanto! Então, há um mês atrás lá andava eu com a minha querida Carla Pires a fotografar este look pelo Bairro Alto e foi quando alguns dos elementos da equipe criativa de Kolovrat em momentos diferentes nos viram a fotografar. Até aqui nada de mais dizem vocês! Mas a parte mais engraçada e particular é que depois nessa mesma manhã já no atelier Kolovrat eu e o meu casaco fomos motivo de conversa! Conversa essa bem boa que fomos ambos objetos de inspiração para a coleção F/W16. O casaco amarelo que Cabral desfilou no show foi resultado dessa mesma conversa! Eu ainda não estou em mim e não acredito que tudo isto aconteceu, mas aconteceu! (de coração cheio) :)

Eu também quero aproveitar este momento para agradecer a todos da equipa Kolovrat (Lidija, Mario, Tara) vocês são top! Como também quero agradecer a todas as pessoas nos bastidores, mas um agradecimento especial para os modelos da Karacter Agency, Fernando Cabral e Marianne Bittencourt pelo apoio impulso, boost e confiança minutos antes de entrar na passarela.

Ao lado de toda esta loucura não me esqueci de vocês! Consegui fazer alguns registos fotográficos dos meus looks, alguns registos artísticos da passarela e streetstyle (não muito confesso! Infelizmente, o streetstyle em Portugal ainda é um pouco fraco! E também não dediquei muito tempo a procurar por street people!) Assim, durante este dias vou atualizando este post. Será o meu relatório desta edição da ModaLisboa Kiss. Este post será atualizado com alguns comentários e o meu ponto de vista sobre as coleções acompanhados de registos do evento.

Mas antes de ir (por agora) Quero dizer feliz aniversário Lisboa Fashion Week e toda a equipa ModaLisboa pelo 25º aniversário! Temos quase a mesma idade! Muito obrigado por ser essa grande plataforma de partilha de moda portuguesa como também por toda a promoção de nomes portugueses e indústria nacional lá fora!
